Jerzy Mosoń “Camino ad infinitum. Maria Wollenberg-Kluza – Life and Work”

A very interesting book has been published — “Camino ad infinitum. Maria Wollenberg-Kluza – Life and Work.” The publication is dedicated to the leading representative and pioneer of reflective painting. The author of the book is Jerzy Mosoń — an insightful journalist and business consultant. This publication represents a rare literary form: a fictionalized interview.

Over forty years ago, the book “Light and Shadow” was published — authored by the poet Zbigniew Jerzyna, who for many years was a close friend of the painter Maria Wollenberg-Kluza.
In 2024, another publication dedicated to this artist appeared: “Friendships and Inspirations” by Rena Marciniak-Kosmowska.
The third volume, “Camino ad infinitum. Maria Wollenberg-Kluza – Life and Work,” was written by Jerzy Mosoń, an experienced editor with profound knowledge of art.

Camino ad infinitum – The Idea of the Book

The title “Camino ad infinitum. Maria Wollenberg-Kluza – Life and Work” refers to the famous pilgrimage route — the Camino de Santiago — leading to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Translated literally from Latin, ad infinitum means “without end,” “forever,” or “to infinity.”

Maria Wollenberg-Kluza – The Pioneer of Reflective Painting

The book prepared by Jerzy Mosoń is devoted to Maria Wollenberg-Kluza, a pioneer of reflective painting — a movement derived from pre-romanticism, symbolism, and colorism. It focuses particularly on the later years of her artistic activity and her role as a mentor and promoter of young artists through the “Paleta” Foundation, which she established.
Wollenberg-Kluza’s works are now among the most sought-after in the art market, and the competition organized by the Paleta Foundation, under her patronage, opens the door to major artistic careers.

The book “Camino ad infinitum. Maria Wollenberg-Kluza – Life and Work” takes the form of an extended interview with the artist, conducted by well-known journalist and business advisor Jerzy Mosoń, whose professional interests include art, painting, and the art market.
The author presents the story of Maria Wollenberg-Kluza — a contemporary artist — in a uniquely original and avant-garde manner.

The publication represents what might be called a fictionalized interview — a literary form that essentially does not exist in conventional genres. It is an interview enriched with literary elements, intended to create an atmosphere that allows readers to immerse themselves in the colorful world of Maria Wollenberg-Kluza, and to get to know her both as a brilliant artist and as a warm, kind, and inspiring person — someone whose life could easily become the subject of a captivating film.
